Over two years ago my husband was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma and to this day he is still fighting hard to rid himself of this terrible disease. With his positive thinking and amazing spirit as my inspiration I decided to do all I can do to help the fight against cancer and have established my own fund raising group called "Hope Helps".
Hope Helps plans to run many varied events throughout the year including a Biggest Morning Tea, Party Plan Nights, Trivia Nights, Market Nights, Daffodil Day and Girls Night In. All profits from these events will be distributed between The Cancer Council and OnTrac@PeterMac.

For more information on Hope Helps feel free to check out our web site www.hopehelps.org.au.

This May Hope Helps will be running a market style Biggest Morning Tea in Glen Waverley on behalf of the Cancer Council. I would love to be able to include some of your recipes in our product range to sell on the day. I am planning on having cakes, jams and preserves and many other yummy food products for sale on the day. I am writing to ask if you would be interested in baking some of your yummy food and danating it for sale at the Biggest Morning Tea with all proceedes going toward the Cancer Council. In return you will be advertised on our web site and will receive recognition at the event as well as exposure to many potential customers and the ability to partake in future events run by Hope Helps.

I look forward to forming a business relationship with you soon. If you have any queries please contact me. I will contact you via phone in the near future to follow up on this email.

Best Wishes,

Melanie Jeffree

Thank you so, so much for this website. I have been searching the internet for quite a while, trying to find a cake recipe that can be made w/out eggs, nuts, or chocolate (the latter which Connor dislikes and the two former which he is allergic to) when I happened upon this blog. Because of you, Connor (3 years old May 19!) will be able to enjoy a birthday cake for the first time in his life.
